How to Remove Hair Dye From Your Skin

Ahem.

  1. Color your hair late at night.
  2. Notice you go the stupid blackish dye all over your skin by the hair line.
  3. Try in vain to scrub it off with a rag, then baby oil, even considering acetone, but not resorting to it.
  4. Wash hair, scrubbing hair line, worrying that you're messing up the dye job you just gave yourself.
  5. Notice that nothing worked.
  6. Sleep on it.
  7. Get up the next morning, forgetting about the hideous black line around your face.
  8. Put on workout clothes.
  9. Do a tough Firm.
  10. Sweat profusely.
  11. Use your pink t-shirt that you only wear for working out to wipe your sweaty face because getting a towel would take too long.
  12. Continue working out and sweating.
  13. Finish workout, get on the floor to do stretching and realize that there are black streaks all over your t-shirt.
  14. Panic, thinking of your carpeting.
  15. Breathing a sigh of relief that the carpet is safe.
  16. Shower.
  17. Comb hair after shower. Notice that you sweat away all the black dye from your face.

See, working out is good in many more ways that we can expect!

  2. Ha! That's great! I was/am a hairstylist and was thinking you would say to use the special stuff they make to help get it off. Time also gets it off, but when you have brownish looking figers and nails for too long. :)

  3. It may sound icky but cigarette ashes or fireplace ash works great too! My hairdresser has a bag of ashes she uses on me sometimes. She does use the expensive salon stuff too but the ashes seem to work really well. She always teases me and says they belong to her uncle. LOL!!

  4. OMG you are a riot and how timely because I just colored my hair last night. My hair dresser uses cuticle cream around the hairline to prevent the staining.

    Thanks for the compliment Jo!

  8. LOL, that's awesome! When I dye my hair, I just rub vaseline on the skin right up to my hair line. Works like a charm.

  9. There is a good product that my hairdresser uses. It wipes it right away. Roux makes it. I have seen it at Sally's Beauty Supply if you have one of those stores near you. I've seen it online also. It's called Roux Clean Touch Stain remover
