My husband says I whine a lot. He asks me if I'd like cheese and crackers to go with my whine. He also calls me Wendy Whiner.
lol
I'm just expressing my feelings!
I have not exercised yet today. My arms are sore. I feel a touch nauseous. I am either coming down with something or feeling yesterday's Blast and Tone workout, which I did not feel at the time.
I also had my recurring pain real bad today. The pain in my bowel that I've mentioned before. It was pretty bad this morning. I'm wondering if that high-starch meal last night had anything to do with that? Will watch that in the future.
At lunch, I told my hubby that I was going to exercise tonight. There's a hidden meaning in that. What I'm telling him is to stay out of the living room, because I don't like working out in front of him. I also asked him if he would like to make his red beans and rice and sausage that he bought last night, and I would wing it.
So I'm off the hook on cooking, I just have to come up with something nutritious for me. I don't like red beans and rice and sausage. Sausage doesn't agree with me.
I have a million things to get done. I need to make a list. I feel like I'm making great strides with my health, but I'm falling behind on other things. I wonder why I can't have it all? Why can't I multi-task like others? Why can't I make a schedule and stick to it? I think I know next week's I Can Do That.
So tonight if I'm feeling better, I'll do Sweatin' to the Oldies. If not, I'll take a day of rest. I don't want to break my streak, but I need to listen to my body.
I hate excercising in front of my boyfriend. He knows that the only way that he doesnt have to leave the room, is to participate (when not working out at the gym of course). Last week I had him doing Walk Away the Pounds which was HILARIOUS
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about taking one day off. Our bodies need to recover when we work them hard. Today was a recovery day for me. I did feel guilty about it so I did my Walk Away the Pound 1 mile. What is 20 minutes, right? :) My point is that you are doing wonderful! If your body is telling you to rest one day so it can heal and repair, don't beat yourself up. Just do a little if that makes you feel better. If you feel good, go for it and do it all. You're doing great.
ReplyDeleteI don't like to exercise in front of my husband, either. If I did... we would both probably fall on the ground laughing. lol
ReplyDeleteI don't let my hubby in the room when I exercise either, I hate having an audience!
ReplyDeleteOf course you can whine if you want to! It is good to get it off your chest.
